Quick-Start: cURL

Making a request with cURL is extremely straightforward. cURL is only designed for testing purposes, and should not be used for production. Here are the steps to get started:

• Get your API key - You'll need and active subscription and your API Key from the Kaiko team before you can start receiving any data from Kaiko Stream. If you don't have it, ask [e-mail].

• Open the endpoint page - Navigate to the relevant endpoint page on the left-hand side and scroll to the bottom, where the you see "code examples"

• Copy the code example - Copy the code example into a plain text editor, and replace the API key placeholder with your own

• Configure your parameters - Adjust the parameters for in your text editor. Each product has unique parameters, so refer to the page for each product.

• Open your command-line interfaces - Terminal on Mac, Command Prompt on Windows, or any interface of your preference.

• Copy your configuration - Copy your configuration from your text editor and hit "enter"

.... and that's it! You'll now receive updates in real-time as per your configuration.
